the rainbow arch blocks

one of our new works this week is the rainbow arch blocks.

at some point somebody figured out they make a pretty funny hat or headband

 and soon everyone was trying it.

This Pretty Planet

One of the songs I learned during my teacher training has become very popular with the toddlers in the last month or so. It's called "This Pretty Planet", and I have to say I like the version my teacher, Mercedes Castle, sings better than the original by Tom Chapin, now that I've looked for it.
But, this version is pretty good.
